Hi,
I am currently working through aat intermediate on an apprenticeship scheme. Unfortunately the college that funds my course has decided not to fund students going on to technician level. However my work based assessor has informed me that funding may be awarded to some students depending on individual cases. I was told by my assessor that if I started working through the unit 10 project to show commitment to the course then i may be offered funding for next year. Can anyone advise on how I can get hold of details of what the project consists of and what I need to do? It would be much appreciated if anyone can help. Thanks

    Hi Stacey

    If you have a look at "Resource Centre" on the left menu of the Student Section, there is an option called "Unit 10 guidance" and this gives all the information relating to the project.

    Your project needs to include between 3000 and 4000 words and you need to ensure you cover everything that is required of you as outlined in your student record. (If you don't have this, you can obtain it from the "Publications" option from the menu).

    I'm not sure if you are actually in employment, however if you are, you need to base your project on an area in your Finance Function that is working poorly and requires an improvement.

    If you're not in employment, I think you need to speak to AAT or even your college to obtain a case study.

    Thanks for all your pointers, they have been a great help. Just had a look at the resource section and theres lots for me to look at. Im gonna get started straight away and order the student record.
