Hi
I know I'm jumping ahead of myself but I don't knwo what to study after AAT! Can anyone give me some advice?
I don't know whether to stick where I am and do CIPFA, or to study icaew or acca or cima. I'm all of a tizz!
Also do most people use osborne text books to study intermediate level? I want to get a head start over the summer hols.

It's difficult to give you any advice without knowing your current circumstances or aspirations. I take it at the moment you work in local government (hence considering your current CIPFA idea). If this is your long term career path then maybe CIPFA is the one for you. If you are looking to move into Practice then you could consider ICAEW or ACCA. If you want to move into industry then either CIMA or ACCA might be the one.
Again, it all depends on what you want to do in the future but hope that has helped.
