What size of business can I take on?

Hi All,

I know what services I can do, but not sure if there is a limit to the company size I can do accounts for.

I thought I'd read it somewhere in forums but cannot find it!

Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Hi

    When you say account, I assume you mean final accounts?

    It will depend on who is going to read them and for what purpose. In theory you could prepare the final accounts for a Ltd company that doesnt need an audit as it is the co. directors that will give the final approval. As for accounts for banks and other lenders, thay may have certain requirements depending on turnover of the business etc (i.e. they may require audited accounts for certain purposes).

    I know that doesnt clarify things much, but should point you in the right direction.
