Diploma Students!!

Hi All Diploma Students!

I feel as though I should have completed more work than I have at the moment. Can I ask everyone who is sitting Unit 30 exam in June what chapter you are currently working on?

Also, I am studying with FTC and have been reading say chapter 1-3 for example and then completing the workbook for these chapters also - is anybody else doing it this way?!

    I am also a Diploma student studying with FTC

    I was a bit confused with the workbook - whether to do the questions all at the end or after each chapter

    I do them after each chapter as it makes it all 'sink' in better

    Have you done your simulation yet?
    I don't think I am ready, I phoned FTC and apparently you can do it after the exam. So I may concentrate on the June Exam first & do the simulation after.

    Where are you taking your exams?. I am doing mine at FTC - LONDON (ANGEL)

    Hi there!

    I started the Diploma long distance with FTC Leeds in October and have entered for the June exam.

    They told me to start Unit 31 first, but after getting close to the end I was running behind the schedule they had given me and started concentrating on Unit 30 for the exam.

    (My tutor then told me by e:mail that it makes much more sense to do Unit 30 before Unit 31 anyway because it all follows on and you can take the Simulation for Unit 31 at any point)

    I left the workbook till after I finished reading the text book. This has helped me now as it refreshes your memory and makes for good revision before I start on previous exam papers.

    This has worked best for me, but everyone is different. :lol:

    Hi There!

    I am also doing the Diploma distance learning through FTC. I am taking my exam for unit 30 in London in June and completing the simulation for unit 31 some time after that. I have not started studying for unit 31 yet as have a very hectic job and home life so couldn't cope with both of them at the same time.

    Does anyone know where I can get some more info on the entry of credit notes into the nominal ledger? I am a little stuck on this at the moment and the FTC books are a little bit sparse at explaining this bit. I have e-mailed them and waiting for a reply at the moment.

    Any help would be much appreciated.
