Jobs in accountancy...HELP!

Ok firstly I hate my job, I took it up mainly because where i was working my main roles were bookkeeping and payroll, and i wanted more experience in accounts. I then stareted the accountancy foundation course which i due to complete in a few months...But in my new job, my main duties are yep you guessed it Payroll and bookkeeping.
Bottom line is, does anyone know how i can get into a job that will give me experience in the area i want??

If you study your Foundation accountancy at college you can probably apply for an apprenticeship position organised through your college - talk to your tutor after all they're not just there to teach you they are supposed to support you too. Failing that, write to Accountants explaining that you wish to work in a more accounting environment for your course rather than payroll and bookkeeping. Many of them would like the fact that your striving to move ahead from the current tasks you're doing.
