Re:Can't Wait to do the PLB Foundation Exam (roy ramphul)
I would down Load all the available pass papers.and answers.
First Practice on the double entry on section 1 of PLB take you time. Once completed. Compare the answers. If the answer to your work is different from the answer given, go over it again. If there are any uncertainties you have, practice a small excersise from the text book and compare your work with the answers.
Then do another past paper on section 1 untill you feel satisfied with the answers.
Having done all the past papers, AAT will always set processing transaction in the same format. The good news is that they will always give plenty of time to do the question, so therefore no need to rush.
In Section 2 AAT will always set questions involving small tasks of Journals, Reconciling Control Accounts with subsidary Ledger investigating reasons for an inbalance and Bank Reconcilations. Keep practice these questions and compare the answers.
Other question on Section B will be general knoweledge AAT would not ask the same type of question but on the whole some questions will be identicall to the other previous past papers.
Finally I would leave 1 or 2 Past papers to do under time contidions to identify where the strength and
weaknesses lie. If any work on the weaknesses and enjoy the exam.
