Contribution per labour hour

Help.......... I'm feeling a bit brain dead. <BR><BR>How do you work out the contribution per labour hour for a product. I know how to work out the cost ( Selling price less Variable costs).<BR><BR>Its probably really simple, I have been doing practice simulations for 2 days and the brains fogged over!!!!<BR><BR>Thanks

    divide the cost by the total labour ours, isn't it?

    yep, Craig is right. You work out the contribution, then divide it by the labour hours to get the contribution per labour hour figure.

    Thanks.<BR><BR>I new it was simple......... The way the question was set out was confusing me and apparently a few others when I got to college.<BR><BR>I've had a break and don't feel so foggy today. :-)
