Dear All,

Firstly good luck to all those sitting exams in June!

I was wondering if anyone has any tips for revising for the taxation papers?

Is it enough to just do all the past papers available over nad over again? So many little rules to remember.

Cheers Em

    Em
Our tutor is just giving us past papers to practice with each lesson, a different one each time. She seems to think once we've done them we shouldn't have any probs with the exam in june.

    Hope this helps. :!:

I have always found past exam papers a valuable source for revision and exam preperation, however, you have to remember that anything within the syllabus can be tested in the central assessment, so there may be areas that you will not come across in past papers that could still be tested. Just thought I would mention this, as it seems a common way to be tripped up along the way.

    Thanks both,

By the exams I will have worked through the Osborne books for both taxation papers and done as many past papers as available in addition to the practice ones in the book. So hopefully will be able to pass.

    Good luck in your studies

    Hi-ya,

Just the taxation papers for me passed all the others, thankfully.

I haven't finished working through the books yet.

Do not worry about failing an exam - although it feels like the end of the world and it is hard to pick up the subject again - there is more to life! It also shows strength of character and determinination to contine - too many people give up when the going gets tough. As an employer I would not discriminate against those that have failed an exam.

    Take care keep smiling Em
