Unit 05 (FRA) Simulation

I am studying Unit5 by home learning for the June06 exam. I am not employed in any accounting capacity so cannot collect workplace evidence for a portfolio. My problem is that my learning provider (BPP) expects me to provide exam conditions to do the simulation without using a relative or a friend to supervise. I cannot ask anyone at work as I am studying AAT to get out of a dead-end job so don't want my employers to know. I am getting zero response from BPP in reply to repeated e-mails about this problem. Does anyone have any suggestions. I really do not like the idea of going out into the steet to ask a complete stranger to sit in my house for 3 hours!

Hi

I am in a similar situation and am sitting my simulation at BPP offices. You should phone BPP and book this asap - I was told they need a weeks warning re booking. There should be no extra charge.

The only thing I can suggest you do, is post what town you live in and ask if there is another member that would sit with you while you did your simulation. We all have exams coming up and I'm sure would benefit from peace and quiet in which to revise.

Hi

I have a feeling you can use a librarian, the setup would be ideal, a quiet surrounding with little interuption.

The simulation would need to be sent directly to them so that you had no prior access to it, but you would be able to sit it under their supervision, but without your work knowing about it, and without having to put anybody else about, as the librarian would still be able to work around you.
