Any help please - I am doing someone's tax, and it looks at though the CA were incorrectly calculated last year (not by me :D ) Can I correct them (ie over claim) this year to compensate, or just adust the WD figures for the lack of claim last year????

Any help much appreciated :?

    Hi Claudia

    Strictly speaking according to HMR&C you should amend last years calcs and submit amended SA pages - bit of a pain but at least the client will get interest on ovepayment of tax. You cant overclaim this year unfortuately. Hope this helps
