Help with Personal Tax!!!!!!!

Can anybody tell me what rates we are expected to know for the exam and which ones will be written on the tax paper for reference?? Also can anybody explain the shares issue to me - part disposal and purchasing after disposal. Really can't get my head round these!!!! Help please!
