MARKING EXAM PAPERS

Can anyone with enough knowledge tell me how the papers are marked and to what % you have to get to pass.
Rumours are high and I know you have to show compentency in both sections. But what is 'competency' is it 60% in both parts 70% in both parts. Could you pass with 90% section A and 60% section B?
just done a mock in PEV and got 69% in section A and 70% in section B would this be a pass?
I wish the marking would be streamlined so learners know where they stand!
Thanks

Hi Caroline.
There is no set pass mark. The AAT look at how everybody did before deciding.

How do you know what marks you got, it does not tell you the marks any where does it?0 -
Re:MARKING EXAM PAPERS
i didn't get any marks i was just doing a mock at home and marked it quite strictly against their suggested answers and worked out a % from there to give me an idea.0 -

Re:MARKING EXAM PAPERS
Hi Caroline,
Just catching up on the forum, read your query, I appealed on the December 2005 PCR exam. My result came back with an explanation that on Section 1 I got 96% minimum and narrowly failed Section 2. A further explanation, you have to get between 75 and 100 for a pass, 75 being the minimum and 100 max, I must have got just under the 75. But you do have to be successful on both sections to pass.
