Hi I just wanted to ask all of the people doing distance learning who they are with and if they are any good?!
I am coming to the end of the Intermmediate course which I have done through my local college. They are getting rid of distance learning in September but I would like to do the Technician level this way.
Any recommendations? I've looked at Premier training which seems ok but I'm not sure who else does it,
Thanks
Louise

Re:Distance Learning Students
Im with Premier and dont have 1 bad thing to say about them, I get on great.
I dont seem to need them much (suppose thats a good thing) and when I do, they are always there to answer my questions!
There is also FTC and BBP that I know of.
If you want to ask me anything, feel free to pm me!

Re:Distance Learning Students
Thanks Amanda. I might have to quiz you if I go with them then. I've heard a couple of bad things about BBP but if anyone has any comments about FTC that would be great!0 -
Re:Distance Learning Students
hi louise
i am with BPP and have had no problems with them what so ever. they were really quick with the books etc and although you dont get a tutor assigned to you like you used to, each person i speak to has been a great help and they have always rang me back - which is great as i live in germany
hope this helps

Thanks Tracy. Looks like I'll have to find out a bit more about both of them then,

Re:Distance Learning Students
I'm with FTC. I did foundation and currently studying intermediate with them. I've had no problems, you get you own tutor but to be honest never really spoken to them as finding the studying pretty straight forward :P0 -
Re:Distance Learning Students
I'm also with Premier and I think they're great. However, you will need to motivate yourself ( as with all distance learning) - although the tutor will encourage you every step of the way.
I completed Intermediate earlier in the year and have now begun Technician.
Premier are very professional and supportive. You certainly get a one-to-one approach.
Good luck! 8)0
