what will we be?

hi just a quick question at the moment when people ask what i do for a living i tell people am a trainee accountant as i am studing for my technician level, if i decide to go no further but pass my exams what would be my title.....? i know it sounds daft but when filling in forms etc do i just put accountant or is it something like technician accountant.

The offial and politically correct title whe qualified is Accounting Technian. However, various AAT articles etc have used the term 'AAT qaulified accountant'.

The title of accountant can actually be used by anyone, regardless of qualification (if any) and whether it has a capital or lowercase "A" (as has been mentioned before) is irrelevant. I guess it really comes down to whether or not you can substantiate using the term, i.e. is your work considered to be that of an accountant?
