Technician Options and CIMA

Assuming I pass my ECR exam next week, it's time to get thinking about what options I should be taking for Technician. I'm aiming to study for CIMA next and was wondering what would be the best options to take.

At the moment, I'm considering doing Audit and Cash Control. My college teaches these as an evening class so they're most convenient. Taxation classes are taught in the day which makes them tricky (if not impossible) for me to attend. They will provide support on an ad-hoc basis if anyone wants to take the tax options without attending classes. So there's also the possibility of doing Business Taxation too (personal taxation doesn't really interest me).

Thoughts anyone?

Chris

Something to bare in mind is that although you are doing business tax, there is an element of personal tax involved when preapring business tax, so some knowledge is required on personal tax.

I am hoping to go on CIMA next year providing passing the two tax papers later in the year.

Good luck for the ECR exam
