Hey guys,

I thought it might be a good idea to create one topic which covers all of the above.

Tips that i have seen that sound good are:
Stop studying early evening, Have a good nights sleep, Have a good breakfast in the morning,Get there in plenty of time, Take a bottle of water & Stay calm (Try Kalms or Rescue Remedy if you get very nervous like me).

Remember to take:
Exam Entry Form
Photo ID - Normally Driving Licence
Clear Pencil Case
Pens Pencils Rular
Calculator

In the exam:
Read the whole paper before starting so you know exactly how many questions you have to do.
Jot down any formulas or notes that you have.
Be aware of the advised time to spend on each section.
If you are really struggling on something, just leave it and move on (you will be better off earning points by completing the next task than wasting time struggling on that one)

Hints:
SandyHood has pointed out that these might need looking at:
Current ratio:
Current Assets
Current Liabilities

Acid Test Ratio/Quick Ratio:
Current Assets - Stock
Current liabilities

There is also talk of needing to know Total Quality Management and Value Engineering for written questions.

The above may not come up but you don't know!!

I for one will be revising TQM etc as i have been practicing the variances and formulas for Section 1 and 2 so much that i now need to concentrate on the memos and possible subjects that could come up.

Anyone else with any hints/tips or help for everyone, please post for everyone else to see!

Good Luck everyone

From
Stacey (feeling rather underprepared!!)

    Excellent advice Stacey.

Also - spare batteries or calculator.

    Yes,

    I thought of that afterwards!

I last did my exams in June 05, what is the view on use of tip-ex?

Is it still ok to use it as long as it is not in copius amounts?

I believe Tippex is still acceptable - or just put a neat line through any mistakes.
