Hi All,

Could anyone let me know what figure they used for the material price in task 1.1 the actual price for 22500 kg was £123750, but the first line of info stated theat material purchases were calculated using standard cost i.e 22500kg x £5.00 = £112500

i couldn't get my rec statements to balance so i was wondering what other people had done.

What figure did you use for your boar? 24 or 48 I got mine wrong using 24 and went back when I realised the boar was 48

Can't even remember now what task 1.1 was! But if it was what was the actual price of materials used then the answer would be 123750/22500= £5.50 per kg

It would depend whether your variance was in units or hours, it was £48 a unit, but £24 an hour as the unit price was per half hour.

I think my answer was units so i used £48.
