Hi Everyone
Hope it all went well today.
Can I pick your brains over a couple of PCR points:-
1. If a company does not have any historical info, due to bing a new company - what would it use to forecast sales.
2. When you draw up a flexible budget, do you draw a box around the costs as I have seen this on a number of examples, but not all of them.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
Eva

Re:PCR queries
If no previous data, there should be some sort of information that will let you know atleast how to forcast sales, otherwise you would be able to just make it up!
Iv never drawen a box, i dont think that is is too important, however if you wish to i personally dont see how marks can be lost
hope this helps

Re:PCR queries
If there is no historical data available, then you can forecast sales by:-
1. Asking your customers to give detail of there requirments for the forthcoming year.
2. Market research on sales demand in your sector.
Dont think the box is anything to worry about, the layout is not that important providing you have all the correct information in there, and it is clear and concise
