On Mondays PEV exam I used the wrong OAR for overhead variances subsequently my reconcilliation was out, BUT I did state that I knew specifically where the error was and wrote in words all the formulas (OAR x S-A etc.), showed all calculations and carried them through (So the only error was to use one figure incorrectly).
I reckon I answered the rest of the paper correctly.

Would that still be ok for a Pass?

I think you will be fine. It will only be classed as 1 error so if the rest went ok you will be fine

I made that error too, but to be honest even though every now and again waves of panic set in and i think i have failed, on the whole, i did all the variances and calculations correct (apart from those last 2 obviously..!) and understood what was asked of me.

I dont think they are major problems - you show you understand, and i think you are ok. Im presuming the assessor will mark my exam and think "oo silly girl"... and carry on coz i did the hours calculations correct, just used 24 instead of 48
at least my marginal and absorption figures were the same unlike some threads ive read.... :P
