Marks per question

This may be a stupid question but does anyone know if each question in each part carries that same marks. In BTC would the calculation of capital allowances only carry the same marks as calculation of the PCTCT. The two tasks involve such a dirrerent amount of work. Any comments?? :?:

    As the AAT have always said, there are no marks awarded but they test your for competency. Either you know your stuff or you don't, they dont expect you to get 100% to pass.

    The mock exams i did at college all carried different marks depending on how much info was needed on each question. maybe 70-75% needed to pass but it goes on how others did aswell which they use to decide on the pass % they use.

    My teacher said it's about 60% for each paper, on average.
