Marking criteria

Sorry to post this here as well as in Technician but there may be more chance of a reply here. Are the marks allocated to each task the same. I presume not but confirmation would be appreciated. Thanks

    Our teacher told us we needed 55% in each task.
    i.e. consolidated
    IS/Bal Sheet
    Cash flow
    Ratios

    I assume he is correct

    55% in each task is an average, remember that you may do well in some questions and not others and it is each section as a whole that really counts.

    My tutor said it varies on various criteria...

    There is a board set up (presume same as previous years) who go through the paper and agree marks for each question depending on feedback (apparently tutors give feedback on how students found the exam per section (hard or easy) and also look on the forums here to see what students say.

    E.G if feedback given thought question 1.1 is easy it might be 2% of the overall mark but if it was thought to be difficult then they may give a higher percentage.

    Hope it makes some kind of sense
