What came up on the exam?

    DFS was Wednesday. Consolidated Balance Sheet, Journal amendments, then Income Statement and Balance Sheet, Cashflow statement. No deffered tax (hooray!). Second half was comparison of two years accounts for a shareholder using Gross profit margin, net profit margin, stock and receivables turnover. We had to talk about intangible assets and what constitutes a Business combination. Final question was on the accounting equation and the definitions of assets, liabilities and equity, and how profit affects them. Not a bad paper although I know Ihave made some errors. Why oh why did I do a correct journal for credit sales included in the tb which were outside the financial year, and then mess it up by adding the figures back to closing stock?! Ah well, 15th August will tell.

    Just wanted to day thanks for all your posts in the pasts in answering peoples queries I have already thanked others that i could recall under another thread but had forgotten you also played an important part on answering queries that i had even when it wasn't me that asked the question.
