has anyone got their unit 4 sim on 27/06/06?? If so, Have you done much work for it at college??!!

It's just that so far we have only had one lesson on it and have one more next week before the exam and I am really concerned?! Is it very hard to do / much to revise??

    Hiya

    I did unit 4 aaaaaaaaaages ago

    The sim wasnt too difficult, but it did make you think. We only had one lesson on it.

    Make sure you remember how to calculate variance percentages :wink: and are able to explain cost and profit centres :wink: and confidentiality and things won't go a miss.

    Dunno what this year's sim is like but when I did it last year it was by far the easiest of all the units.

    Thats brilliant! My mind has been put at rest now, especially if you only had one lesson Gem. We have covered the things you mentioned so I shall swot up on those definitely!!

    The variance is the difference between the 'actual' figure and the budget figure.

    To work out the percentage you divide the variance figure by the budget and multiply by 100

    I am doing the unit 4 sim this week and don't feel we have spent as much time on this as with the last 3 units. Need to get my head around cost and profit centres!! Good luck :)

    Don't want to sound cruel or anything but the unit 4 sim that i did was completely different to the past one's i'd been going through. So i thought it best to warn you just in case you get a shock!
