Re:Study Buddy for ATT
Thanks guys!
Looks like it's Reading or London for me
I hope the exams are not 9am in the morning!
It's very off putting but I guess I'll have to overcome that as I really want to do the course.
By the way, does anyone have preference over BPP or Tolleys as a course provider?

Re:Study Buddy for ATT
Hi Dean
Sorry for the delay in replying my internet connection is a bit sporadic at the mo.
I haven't got the yellow & orange books yet, I spoke to Tolleys and they said they won't be available until end of September. I did order the Tolleys tax guide 06/07 and received it on Friday, it is very good as a general guide to all areas of tax.
Don't forget to tell them you are a student when you ring you get a great discount
I only paid £29.95 for my tax guide it should have been £50ish

Re:Study Buddy for ATT
Cool is the tax guide worth getting then?
I've already got the yellow and orange books... was quite lucky really coz the accountant I sub-contract to had them delivered on Thursday and was going to send them back! I quickly nabbed them

Re:Study Buddy for ATT
I think so, I have had a few obscure tax questions lately relating to IHT and Pensions, I have found it easier to look up the answers quickly in this sort of guide rather than trawl through the orange & yellow ones.
I think it's similar to the FL Memo ones, we use this range in the office where I sub-contract rather than the Tolleys, mainly because the accountant gets a better deal.
Did the accountant have the 06/07 orange & yellow delivered? If so I'll ring Tolleys tommorrow to order mine. You struck lucky there

I'm actually going to be doing home study. I'll be doing it with "Tolley Training"
