Information on importing wine to UK

Does anyone know where I can find information on the correct procedure for bringing wine from Spain to the UK? It would be large quantites for resale.

    Hi Joanna

    Have you tried the HMRC website?
    It can be a minefield and take a long time but there is a lot of information regarding import or export. If you can't find the information you are looking for then it may be an idea to give them a ring. Just make sure you get the name of the person you spoke to and ask for a hard copy of the advice given.

    OK Thanks. I have tried the HMRC website but it's so difficult to find relevant information. I'll try ringing them but do not have much confidence in the helpline due to problems in the past.

    Any other ideas?
