Do you think Intermediate is enough?

Hi
I've just completed my AAT intermediate exams, and I want to start doing a bit of bookkeeping for S/Traders and partnerships. Do you think that with the knowledge I have from the AAT Intermediate that I would be capable of doing this?
Is there anything else I should know?
Should I just complete their books and then advise them to see an accountant for assistance with thier tax returns?

Re:Do you think Intermediate is enough?
Hi David
Have you got previous experience of bookkeeping? If so, then you will be fine doing bookkeeping for people having comleted intermediate. Don't forget about PI insurance - there are also guidelines on the student site for self employed students.
Don't even contemplate doing tax returns until you have completed the business and personal tax options at technician level.
A lot of people get a bookkeeper to do their books and the see an accountant for their tax. Accountants also often sub out bookkeeping work.
Hope this helps.
