It could take you a year to do technician where you will then have an accounting technician qualification. Or you could take a year and do ACCA level 1.

As you are exempt from level 1 with AAT technician completed - in a years time you will be in the same position, but one way with a qualification and another way without!

Also you should think about what you would do if you don't complete ACCA?

    Hi there

I am also looking to go straight onto ACCA Level 1 after completing Intermediate.

I am looking in to having my units swapped over to the diploma route, so you will have some qualifications.

I am also doing this because I may move to Australia where I don't believe AAT is recognised, but ACCA is.

Also I've found being an ACCA/CIMA studier is better than an AAT studier at my level (I've been in accounts for 3 years and worked as an assistant accountant).
