project - real or imagined!
System

Hi There,
I am having trouble with my project and was wondering if anyone can tell me if the report has to contain purely real details?
By this I mean, I have chosen a project at work that is in its first stages, I have not initiated the project but have helped collect some information.
I am not able to arrange meetings or discuss the project with in the company because it is not my responsibility.
Can I still use this and fill in the gaps with what I would think is going to happen or do I actively have to 'do' the project in the workplace?
Thanks
J

Re:project - real or imagined!
Hi Jennifer
A few of my class mates had similar troubles with their projects and our tutor advised them that if they could get their projects up to a certain point, they could include a statement saying that the new system is in it's initial stages however you could then follow on from that including best and worst case scenarios as a result of the system being iplemented.
Some new systems don't get implemented over night as a lot of planning etc goes into it. I think if you show you've thought about what the new system is designed to do and the benefits from that as well as include potential problems and how it will affect your company, you would almost definitely get points for that.
Good luck with it!0
