Unit 10 : Project simulation

Most posts about the Technican project are from people lucky enough to be able to do one on their own workplace. I don't work in an acoounts environment (but for HMRC), and even if I had friends with their own business no-one wants me digging around in their accounting systems! I doubt I would be allowed to by my employer either- same as lack of work experience, its a definite conflict of interest.

My question is do you have to apply direct to the AAT to get a Unit 10 simulation, or does your college produce their own or order one from the AAT for you?

If anyone else out there did/is doing AAT whilst HMRC employed, I would be interested to know how you got on and what impact it has made on your career.

    Mt tutor at college provided me with the simulation. Though a headache to start with, it really is not that bad.
