CIMA Exemptions

Assuming I pass the last 2 Tech exams, I have decided to go for CIMA at my local uni. However, I'm unsure about the exemptions to Cert. level which seem to be on offer. AAT doesn't seem to have touched on 2 subjects, Economics and Law.

Does anyone know if knowledge of these subjects is required for the Management Level? CIMA says you shouldn't accept any exemption unless you feel you could pass the exam in it. I probably wouldn't have a clue on these. So why offer it?

After all the effort for AAT, I'm now wondering if it would have been better to do CIMA's Cert instead.

Can anyone advise????

    Hi

If you are really worried about the 2 CIMA you could ask to have these omitted from your exemptions and take them.

However, I took all the CIMA exemptions as most AAT's do and can't say I feel Ive missed anything and I'm sure others would say the same.
