Hi guys

I sat my PLB simulation yesterday. I think i have completly mucked it up.
No matter what i did i my trial balance was out by 17pence - Gutted!!!

I took the full 3 hours & just handed it in - Nightmare

    Hiya,

    Just because you couldn't get the Trial Balance to Balance doesn't mean you'll fail and its not like sitting the external exam as you can amend it!!!

    yeah i guess - i would have thought my college will just send me some extra questions to cover it!
    My mind just went blank as soon as i walked in there!

    17 pence isn't a lot either.

    When I did my central exam, I was thousands out and I still passed somehow!

    well that's what i thought! If it was miles out i would have struggled to look for it - but i thought for 17p it will just have to be out!
    I still balanced my suspense account off, except it didn't zero down!

    sarah, what did u use to revise for this sim? I ran out of material very quickly, there just doesn't seem to be anything?

    Material in that context means, does it really make a difference (Is it a material difference)

    ok sorry guys didn't realise it made that much difference. I meant sources of knowledge, books, papers things to learn from!

    i have never balanced a trial balance or balance sheets in the exams and somehow passed all of them..so dont worry!!!
    When i did that exam i just put the difference in a suspense account..
