SAGE QUERY

Hi
Some advice would be appreciated please?
I have some limited knowledge of Sage but would like to be more confident.
Is it possible to teach myself through a Sage manual or would it be better to do a Sage Course as home study?
I am more than willing to pay out for this course which is with Premier Training but am wary that all it will teach me is what is in the manual anyway.
Also if I do the Sage course, can I class it as CPD?

Thanks
Sharon

You can get Sage training CDs off ebay for about £10. I don't know how useful they are, but it isn't a massive waste of money if it isn't that great!

I think if you are learning skills that you need professionally, that makes it CPD - it doesn't have to be specifically accounting bits.

    Thanks Lilibet.
I've had a look on Ebay and have bought one, it's worth a try :D and like you say I haven't lost a massive amount of money if it's rubbish :D

    Dear Shaxxa,
Where are you based? Sage themselves run workshops around the country. I've been on one and found it very useful. Give them a ring on 0845 111 5555 or look on Sage.com

Try your local college or Learn Direct centre. Lots of FE colleges offer "computerised accounts" courses which are based on Sage.
