Hi,

Please can someone tell me when I can officially call myself part qualified AAT?

    Depends on who you talk to! Recruiters tend to see part-qualified as having completed at least one unit, whereas others will see it as completion of at least one entire level.

    I thought it was generally seen as you are part AAT qualified when you have passed the intermediate level

    so....

    If I do pass Foundation, will i be able to class my self as part qualified AAT???

    Hi Te.

    Once you have passed Foundation and have moved on, you could describe yourelf as an Intermediate Level Studier. This is clear and won't mislead people.

    Te - no. passing foundation won't be classed as part qualified.

    Generally, I'd say once you have passed Intermediate, but I always do what Scotty says and say I'm studying at intermediate level...

    Hi

    In my experience, you only use the part qualified when you're doing CIMA. Usually if employers are advertising jobs they will say AAT Intermediate etc which means that they are looking for someone who has passed at that level. Others look for part qualified accoutants, which usually means that you are on your CIMA Managerial level or ACCA second level
