Exemption Fees

Hi,

I was just wondering really - does anyone know why the exemption fees for ACCA/CIMA are the same as the exam entry fees? I can't imagine that the admin involved in processing an exemption costs anywhere near as much as the cost of actually sitting an exam and then having it marked. Does anyone know the reason why this is?

    Just because ACCA says it is!!!

    Seriously there doesn't seem to be any reason other than exemptions deny ACCA from revenue!

    It's a pain, I had to pay joining fee and 3 exemptions fees - bye bye £200.
