Hi everyone,

I have passed my intermediate exam.....yipeeeee!!

I wanted to ask whether the Technician level is harder than intermediate level as I am wondering if I am good enough to get through it. I am nervous and unsure as whether to do it or not and would appreciate some words of wisdom from yourselves.

many thanks

Shiwani

it is another step up but it is do-able in a year, you just need to be committed for the next year but it is definately worth completing. I am not a fast learner so had to put lots of hours in but i achieved it while still working full time and with a family who were very supportive.

    Hi

Technician is alot harder than intermediate, the key to it though is to ensure you work hard from the beginning -dont wait until the month before exams to start revision etc. I would also suggest getting any projects done as early as possible which will free up more time when the exams come round. Have you decided which options you want to do?

    hi there
i too have just passed intermediate and just enrolled for technician - my advice is definatley go for it otherwise youll only wonder if you could have made it
i too am nervous of whether im good enough to complete it but ive got to try, you need to find a reason to keep going, heres mine:

my eldest has gone through his expensive labelled clothing, its been hard coming up with the money and he has had a few bits, but what scares me is in 4 years time, ill have 2 more kids at that age and i know theres no way ill be able to afford it - so everytime i get nervous about my capabilities, i just imagine the day when i have a 12 and 13 year old, in town and buying those trainers with a certain name on them - as saying no to them is just not going to be an option

dont get me wrong though, im no sucker for labels and would only allow a moderate amount no matter how rich i was, and im teaching my kids that too.
ok, im off now, before i waffle on anymore, but good luck with your decision!
