Has anybody looked in to funding for the AAT, and has anyone been sucsessfull, as it is only a part time course?

    Hi Andy i applied for a grant with Learn Direct, its called ILA (individual learning account). I have a grant of £200 towards studying Technician, it is only a part time course, you have to phone learn direct. Hope this helps.

    Hi,

    as i live in wales the welsh assembly funded my course through a scheme called elwa it's like a modern apprentice scheme. there is a certain criteria you have to meet you have to be in full time accounts type work and between a certain age.

    they actually contacted me after i was accpeted on the course so might be worth you giving your college a ring to see if they have the same sort of scheme.

    only downside is that you have to do keyskills in communication and numeracy as extra work!!
