Project based on audit department

I am currently working in practice, primarily audit, and would like to get ahead with the project.
My dilemma is that I have no idea what to base it on, especially as a growing proportion of my time will be spent doing audit work.
Please could anyone give my some ideas of what to base my project on?

Hi,
I completed my project in 2004 (not sure if standards have changed) but mine was on the audit department itself and that was acceptable. Detailed change etc.
