AAT Graduation Ceremony

Has anyone received there application form to go to a graduation ceremony to celebrate your achievement. I have received mine and my first choice is De Vere Belfry Hotel - West Midlands. I really hope I can get into this one as it looks a fantastic setting. I posted my application today so I hope this was soon enough to get my first choice as I did actually receive on saturday so I suppose I could of posted it then.

Has anyone else chosen there choice as to where they want to go for the Graduation Ceremony ?

    I have received my invite - as I live in Lincoln the best one for me to get to by train is York (last train back is 21.37 - so would have to get my skates on) - my colleague went to one in Nottingham a couple of years ago - what happened to that one. Will have to see if its worth it or not!!!!

    I received mine on Saturday too. I have only one choice and thats Cardiff the rest are all to
    far away I also posted my back today. If I can't get that well never mind.

    Hi,
    I went to one in Nottingham a couple of years back. One of the best nights I have had. My hubby was so proud of me when I went to get my award.

    Before we left we decided to just get the photo of me getting the award. Once there we ended up buying the one of me on stage. one of me in the studio holding a certificate, one of the both of us together and the disc of all shots too.

    The buffet was fantastic.

    You will have a great time I am sure.

    Hi

    Recieved my form yesterday and posted back today.

    I am planning on either Bournemouth or Cardiff as both are about the same distance from me.

    I know this sounds stuid what what are you meant to wear to this is it just smart and what would people recommend.

    Hi,
    When I went I wore a brown trouser suit. Most people were in suits or shirt and tie (men) smart blouse, skirt (women obviously or maybe not obviously!!). There was the odd person dressed more casually but not many. I wanted to look smart for my graduation photo and am pleased I did as my photo looks as good as my brothers cap and gown one.

    Sarah,

    I am attending the award ceremony with my boyfriend at cardiff.

    Can you tell me what outfits are appropriate please? Im guessing suits for the men but what do the women genrally wear?

    I am not too sure what to expect. I am hoping its not too many agencies waiting to sign us up, as i have just accepted a new job.

    Hi ya,

    I am due to finish technician in December. What are these Graduation nights like? Are they busy, fun, worthwhile? Do you get a choice of which location????
