Hi How are your tutors approaching DFS? Our one is not working from books nor setting homework. I am interested to know if this is unusual. All through Foundation and Intermediate we worked through the books, did the exercises and handed in homework every week.

    we have tutors who work through the book (osbourne ) but we do have one tutor who doesnt set homework as such and works from his own material and prints out questions to tackle from other books (which can sometimes be very old text books)

    personnally i prefer the tutors that use the osbourne books with us and we use the workbook as homework for them to mark

    I did DFS last year and my tutor worked from his own material but did advise us to do the questions from the book which related to the topic he had covered.

    If your tutor is not giving you any homework then my advice would be to find the relevant topic in your book and work through the questions relating to it. The more practice you get on each subject as you learn it the easier it will be when you sit the exam.
