I have a suggestion

Currently, if you wish to appeal an exam outcome, but also want to re-enter for the next exam in case of a fail, you need to send your entry by post and put in a covering letter saying you have appealed the last exam and to hold off processing the new entry.

Can there not be a box when you enter exams online to say that you have appealed an exam as the online entry is supposed to make it easier and I prefer to enter online?

I hope this makes sense!

Thanks Purplegirl - it does make sense and it is a good idea.

You can still enter online for an exam even if you have an appeal pending but it would help I agree, to be able to flag that up.

Realistically, I don't think we'll be able to add this in for the current (December 06) session. This is because we're concentrating on building online student registrations and online exam attendance information (eg desks venues etc) at the moment. But certainly we'll aim to include this for the next (June 07) sessions.

Great idea. Thanks for suggesting it.
