Where do I start?

Not sure really where to start with my course!

I'm doing the FTC Kaplan Distance Learning Intermediate course, i've had all my books through and read the student notes, etc, but still not completely sure what to do first.

My main worry is the portfolio as how do I know whether or not I covered all the correct elements with certain pieces of work.


If someone could help i'd really appreciate it :D

    Did you sit foundation PLB exam?

    I'd start with FRA as it leads on from PLB - if you work hard, you should be ready to sit the central exam in Dec and then you can crack on with ECR and unit 7.

    Your skills test should cover most of the criteria - you should be told what the test has covered when you receive it back.

    Speak to your tutor for guidance on what you need to do with the portfolio - they may be able to provide you mini test questions to cover it or something.

    I am doing Distance learning with FTC they normally give you a a work plan of were you can start if you have not got this I would speak to them. good luck
