Hiya, just wondered if anyone had any notes, websites, etc that could help me study for the FRA exam that I am sitting in Dec06. I've only just had my books through from FTC Kaplan and spent most of my spare time (sad or what) looking though them. But thought if I had other notes or help then I might be able to take it in better.
Thanks alot

Re:Help with FRA
Are you new to intermediate and if so, why are you sitting your exam in less than three months time? It's not sad as you're gonna need ALL your spare time studying between now and then - i.e. you won't have any - since it's a hell of a lot to learn in such a short time frame.
Just curious, really...

We did FRA in three months and only one person failed. It's a fair bit to learn but is quite doable.

Re:Help with FRA
Hi, thought i'd sit it in Dec so I could get the ball rolling really. I didn't want to leave both exams until the June as I thought that it would be way to much. Do you not think its a good idea to sit the exam in Dec? You've worried me now. I am new to the aat, and haven't done the foundation level. But I have been going through unit 5 and I seem to be understanding it quite well.

Re:Help with FRA
I know what you mean i too an having a bit of trouble with the last few chapters of FRA and am writting in december.Maybe we should all form study groups and help each other as that seems to be the bst option.I have found the Frank Wood 1 helps keeps thing simple and clear when i confuse myself. If in London maybe we could form a study group.0 -
Re:Help with FRA
I'm sitting in Dec and I've only just started. That's why the help, notes etc have been asked for as it seems quite daunting!!0 -
Re:Help with FRA
I sat the FRA in June and decided to sit the exam only in April because I felt the questions asked covered the GCSE A Level IAB, ICB Book-keeping Accounting syllabus.
It depends on the knowledge you have from other Bookkeeping Accounting qualifications. if you have the knowledge of the syllabus and pratice the pass papers and feel you are doing well, then you can sit the exam in december.0 -
Re:Help with FRA
Hi, I think i'll give the exam a go in Dec. If I leave it until June i'll only get lazy with my revision. Anyway if I do fail I can always resit it and then i'll have the knowledge of what the exams are like. Anyone else going to be taking their exam in Cardiff?
