How is DFS going?

Hi

Just wondering how other people are getting on with DFS for the December exams? I'm about to do chapter 8 (feel a bit behind) this weekend but feel there is loads to learn, the early chapters are a bit of a blur. Still got enough time left at the moment though. Has anyone made notes on the IAS's? I have BPP passcards but are wondering whether to make my own notes - what did people do for the July exam?

Where is everyone else up too?

    Hi, I passed DFS in summer, and I just went through paractice paper after practice paper, as well as a lot of reading. Did lots of work on consolidated balance sheets to, so that I new them off by heart. I didnt manage to remember any of the IAS's

    Hi,

    I'm doing studying it for the moment. Finding it hard going but getting there slowly. A bit panicky to the exams but I suppose its early yet isn't it?

    Hi Tori,

    For the June exam regarding IASs, I made cards for each of them, with the number on the front and the description on the back, then got my husband to ask me them randomly for a couple of nights before the exam.

    That was the first time I done anything like that, and it actually worked!

    I'm re-learning DFS under the IAS as I took it last December. Really hating learining new terms and having to think of new ways to remember everything!
