OK, so I have my block insurance and AAT are processing my member in practice application for registered and regulated and have said "go ahead" on advertising.
So I went to the local Small Business Centre in Salisbury and then to the HMRC course called Self Employment. Trawled through the advice on the Forum. Am now a member of the local Chamber of Commerce and am attending local networking events and giving out the business cards. Not in a flying hurry but would like some advice, is there anyone out there particularly in the Salisbury area doing self employment from home who would be willing to meet up to discuss pitfalls etc. and advice on further advertising. Am quite a distance from the nearest AAT Branch so would welcome any local input.
