    Well, a little 'off-topic' for this thread...

    We will be covering Payroll tomorrow, so recommend that you read Ch14.

    We also had Ch10 onwards from the Workbook - but I did those before my PLB exam.

    Is your data spread-out, so that it makes it complicated to highlight?

    Cant you copy/paste to a separate sheet, then highlight? Or won't that work?

    tried that i did it the way i thought college showed us but wen i delete the columns i don't need it comes up REF were i put my formulas in!!!!

    thinks i need somw 1 on 1 in how to use excel or am never guna pass

    Yeah. I think I understand... You will still need the other columns for your formulas to work...

    How about hiding the columns you don't need? I think you have that option in Excel?

    Haven't got Excel - familiar with other spreadsheets, but only basic with excel.

    Anyone else got any ideas? Jamie? Rae?

    Hi
    Appears when Excel encounters an invalid cell reference, such as when you delete a cell referred to in a formula or paste cells over the cells referred to in a formula.

    email the spreadsheet to me K and i'll have a look and write on it what needs to be done and send it back.

    once you do something in excel the once it's really eas to do it again and again. jusut experiment with different formulae,

    what is it you want to achieve with this data, what do you want the data to show or what do you want the formula to be or do?

    Arguably the best Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror podcast on the 'net. (The only other one I know of is their sister site www.pseudopod.org) Its free to download, but they ask for donations (to pay their authors). I've only just discovered it, and am greedily devouring their archives. Each week they release a different, unconnected short story. My favourites so far have been EP002: Feng Burger and EP004: In His Footsteps.
