Re:Study Buddy
Tried getting into squash a few years ago but couldn't. Much prefer badminton myself and I think it's harder anyway if you can play it to a decent level...0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Lot better idea to try and bash a shuttle cock over a net than trying to bang hell out of a wall0 -
Re:Study Buddy
i play badminton every Monday, i think it probably looks a lot easier than it is though!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I play badminton in the summer. And I'm rubbish! But it's good fun, gets me out and at least I'm doing some sort of exercise. I must burn about 500 calories laughing!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
People think it's a soft sport 'cos it's only a lightweight shuttlecock but it's a totally different game altogether. It takes a lot of power to smash a shuttle from one end of the court to the other.
I've also found that players who are good at squash often struggle at badminton and vice versa due to the different techniques...0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Haven't played for years but used to enjoy it, hard and k********g0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Does anyone know what that asterisked word is? :?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Squash is all in the wrist. Hardest game you can play. Badminton is tough, but minute for minute, squash is more demanding.
Gem, I dont mean lunging tradionally, I mean lunging in all directions. Hurts your glutes.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Ah I see. Gluteusmaximus :roll:0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I think we'd better leave Paul and Gem to discuss their wrist action and flicking in private. Don't want our legs slapping again for being suggestive, now do we?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I didn't say anything about wrist action or flicking :P0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Farmer, you dont have to turn EVERYTHING rude :shock:0 -
Re:Study Buddy
What's wrong with a sensible discussion about technique?
:?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Nothing
But there are a lot of innuendos flying around :P0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Apologies, one and all. Was intended as a funny, possibly innuendo but not directly rude. If I have offended anyone, I apologise.0 -

Re:Study Buddy
I'm normally in trouble of some sort from opening my eyes in the morning to closing them in the evening, one of the problems with being a dad of teenage daughters.0 -
