Re:Study Buddy
Well at least you have a chance of winning then
Seriously though what does that mean? You start at different points or something?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
We've all submitted our most recent 10k times and then we're all set off so that in theory we finish together.
The slowest go first. Me.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
As long as I started 500 metres before then end I'd be alright. That's 5 kilometres after all... isn't it?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Eurgh 10k. You're lucky if you catch me running 10m. :P0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Although I had to run for the bus this morning again with a chocolate donut in my hand :x I nearly dropped it!0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Bet you would have caught it on the back of your neck though!0 -

Re:Study Buddy
Helen, what happens if you finish too early?0 -

The success of the race depends on how accurate the handicaps are calculated.
The winner is the runner who crosses the line first. They may not (and probably won't) have run the fastest time.

Re:Study Buddy
Hello, Ive got to go to Derby straight after work again! Doh!
Already had a call this afternoon from an agency saying they have a couple of positions they would look to put me in :shock:0 -
Re:Study Buddy
That sounds nice and positive.
:P0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Which agency are you using?0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I have used a few, Harper and Reed at the moment.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
How were they at Harper? I always thought they were quite a small agency, not too many jobs. Although Ive never had dealings with them, just my impression from their website.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
They seemed good, but Ive been waiting now for 10 days on two jobs, and they havent contacted me, so I dont know.0 -
Re:Study Buddy
Did you browse through the link that was put up on the general forum - "this is derbyshire website"?

Eh? So according to that even if they don't run the fastest time they're still the winner - as long as they cross first presumably having set off first? Wouldn't want to start at the back then, would you?
Oh, I get you now but I can't be bothered to edit...0 -
Re:Study Buddy
I normally set off first - but have never won...
:oops:0 -
