South West Wales - Are we in the doghouse?

I'm looking for members in South West Wales; that's west of Bridgend and south of about Cardigan/Lampeter.
I've been looking at the AAT's membership map for things like branch meetings and CPD, after wondering why I keep getting invited to events in the West Midlands, such as the invitation to Solihull that I received, today. And there have been CPD meetings in Llanelli, where I live, that I haven't known about!
It seems that, according to the map, anyone in the area specified above is classed as being in the West Midlands and Mid Wales branch. Yet, anyone who lives in this area knows that it takes 1 to 1.5 hours to get to Cardiff, and 3 hours or more to get to Birmingham.
I've spoken to West of England and South Wales branch members and they've been wondering why there is so little support from the area.
Now, while I would not want to travel to North Devon, which seems to be the other boundary, I wonder if it's time for a re-mapping of members. While this may result in breaking up friendships, we have to accept that it happens when organizations like the AAT grow.
I would be interested in any thoughts you have on this. If there is enough support, then maybe we can present a case to the AAT board. Even if we can get reassigned to Cardiff branch, it would help, providing far better support for the team who work so hard in South Wales, and far easier transport links for those of us who live here.
Please let me know what you think.
Mike

Can't you just keep an eye on what the other branches are upto on the website?
I'm also in no-man's land but would always be prepared to travel if it was relevant.
