Just wanted to say that I went to a tax enquiry seminar on tuesday night, held by Deloitte. I'd booked it ages ago, (I can't remember where I heard about it now) and to be honest I so nearly couldn't be bothered to go, but it was surprisingly good.
I know there're doing similar evenings around the country, so if you're needing a few extra hours (free:D) CPD or just want to know more about how to deal with enquiries then have a look to see if they're heading your way. Unfortunately I don't have any contact numbers, but i'm sure there'll be details on their website.
Although, TC, nothing was mentioned about 'making an offer' - I think you probably just need to have good negotiating skills for that one!
