Is there any one working as a purchases cleck with Sage. I am looking for a job as a purchases cleck but they do it on Sage and I don not have any experiences on that side of Sage. please help me…

    I think they mean a purchase ledger clerk!

    I imagine the job will pretty similar no matter what accounts package you use?

    As I understand that sort of role, arranging payment of invoices, entering invoices on to the system etc, looking at supplier accounts....?

    No it is not as simple as what you said.
    I think they want you put every thing in Sage from the beginning (place an order) as P/O list as you see on the right hand side under links when you are at the purchases ledger.
    I don not understand that.....

    I'm sure most purchase ledger clerks do that with a computerised accounting system.....

    Don't panic - I'm sure they will train you how to do it all.

    Hi

    I am a purchase ledger clerk and I use Sage MMS. I have also used Sage line 50 in the past. What do you want to know?

    If you are at all worried about using Sage, don't be. It is dead easy to use.

    Hi Speegs
    I know how to use Sage but only for accounts (financial side), but you know Sage V12 they have every thing as you can prepare Inv if you are a sale ledger clerk or you can place an order, record goods have been received by link to the warehouse as a purchases clerk... etc..
    I mean SageV12 allows you to use it as a purchase clerk in the same way as MMS (you mentioned previously)
